2021 – Foundation and Early Development

Company Inception: Tandm was founded with the vision to streamline fire protection design workflows.

Prototype Development: Initial development of the Tandm Fire Sprinklers tool began, focusing on automating sprinkler layouts within Revit®.

15 Dec

2022 – Soft Launch and Feature Expansion

Official Launch: Tandm Fire Sprinklers was officially released, offering automated sprinkler placement compliant with AS 2118 standards.

User Feedback Integration: Early adopters provided valuable feedback, leading to iterative improvements in usability and performance.

2023 - Estimator Preview Released

A preview version of Tandm Estimator was made available, enabling users to generate more accurate project estimates.

 

BIM 360 Support Added: Enabled users to load, manage, and collaborate on Tandm models directly within BIM 360 environments, improving project coordination and cloud-based workflows.

2024 – Enhancements and New Tool Development

International Expansion: Tandm expanded its user base to the USA and UK, offering automated sprinkler placement compliant with NFPA 13, and BS EN 12845

15 Dec

2025 - Dry Fire Tool Development

Initiated development of the Tandm Dry Fire module to address detection system design needs.

 

Annual Priority Support Introduced: A premium support package was launched, providing users with dedicated assistance and faster response times.

15 Dec

2026 - Dry Fire MVP Released

Tandm Dry Fire was released in MVP Stage, Current Users got the opportunity to use it firsthand alongside their existing Wet Fire design.

White Glove onboarding was launched, providing users with a full onboarding to make sure they were able to use Tandm Fire Designer to the fullest from day 1.
