Our History

Tandm was born from firsthand experience with the inefficiencies that slow down building services design. Our founders — engineers and software experts — saw an opportunity to change the way things were done.

What started as a vision to simplify fire protection design in Revit® has grown into a broader mission: to transform how the entire building services industry works.

From early prototypes to our first commercial release, every step has been guided by industry feedback, real-world problems, and a belief that design should be faster, smarter, and more accurate.

Today, Tandm continues to evolve — with new tools, new markets, and a growing community of professionals who share our drive to make things better.

Our Core Team

Peter Glodic

President & CEO

For over three decades, Peter has worked at every level of Fire Protection and Fire Safety, both in contracting and consulting, from hands-on to leadership roles.

Peter is a tireless advocate for the Fire Protection and Fire Safety Design industries. His time in the profession has been consistently defined by a need to find better ways of working that elevate the importance of his peers’ contributions and skills. Tandm is the realisation of these pursuits.

Byron Ruiz

Chief Product Officer

Byron brings over a decade of experience in the fire protection industry, coupled with deep expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM), software product ownership, and business strategy.
With a background in engineering and a strong ethical commitment to fire and life safety, Byron plays a key role in shaping Tandm’s roadmap and positioning. He advises on construction workflows, technical codes, and the transformation of Tandm into a data-driven SaaS business.

Artem Kulakov

Chief Technology Officer

Artem has earned an enviable reputation as a results driven leader in the technology space, designing and delivering complex software development projects for consumer and commercial audiences. Starting his career developing AI systems for the gaming industry, Artem now provides cutting edge solutions through leadership roles in the proptech, insurance and start-up spaces.

At Tandm, Artem reviews our technology strategy, roadmap and architecture in conjunction with our Chief Product Officer. He also advises with the recruiting and management of Tandm’s multi-disciplinary software development team.
